The Menardi family is the new management of the Mietres mountain lodge located at 1710m altitude in the beautiful tourist resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo. We want to offer our customers a table for everyone, special events with themed dinners , tastings, musical evenings full of fun. For those looking for an exclusive, reserved corner, full of magic and charm where the eyes are lost in the beauty of nature, it will be possible to organize personalized ceremonies. It is our desire to involve all our customers in a sensory journey between taste and charm of the place.
we are in one of the most beautiful places in the Ampezzo valley all around you can admire the wonderful Dolomites recognized among the most beautiful peaks of the earth and protected as a UNESCO World Heritage. From Col Tondo you can confortably leave your car and reach the shelter with a short walk, as well as from the site of Larieto . Along a path of a forest road that goes into the woods, reaches the refuge admiring some glimpse of the landscape and appreciating all the nature around. Both walks are also suitable for families with children because they are short and easy to travel. The Mountain lodge can be reached in winter from the area of Guargnè on foot, with ski mountaineering and snowshoeing, while in summer, following the various marked trails that lead to the mountain retreat you can also get there by mountain bike or e-bike. Embraced by the larches , with Mt Pomagagnon behind , this place enjoys a sunny and protected position making itself appreciated in every season with the magnificent colors that nature offers.
Genuineness is the word that characterizes our menu. We offer some traditional local dishes, simple dishes, where the ingredients that come from the land and the alternation of the seasons, give authentic flavors and colors to all dishes and dishes that rediscover ancient recipes of Italian culinary art interpreted with a touch of originality . Our desire is to gather around the table all lovers of taste and conviviality.

lunches, dinners, ceremonies, our shelter is the ideal place to enjoy good food and magnify a unique place as Cortina, where the landscape and nature give show in all their beauty. In addition to a cozy dining room, the mountain lodge has two large terraces where on sunny days it is possible to have lunch outdoors or simply enjoy the silence and nature. We carry out on-call or reservation transport service for our customers. From 9 January 2019 every Wednesday evening we wait for you with musical evenings and lots of fun. You can reach us by ski mountaineering, on foot and snowshoeing or take advantage of the services or transport by snowmobile. (by reservation)
